The PMK LILCO® series of current transformers enables precision high-bandwidth AC current measurements with bandwidths from mHz to over 60 MHz and input currents from mA up to 25 kA. These transformers are suitable for a wide range of applications, capable of accurately measuring large pulse or continuous currents. Galvanic isolation is provided between the input and output, with internal shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. The devices are completely passive and do not require power.Key features of the LILCO series include less than 2% accuracy across a wide frequency range, ultra-low droop for better low-frequency fidelity, high I·t capacity, minimal phase shift, and high resistance to DC saturation. With integrated precision 50 Ω termination and a BNC output, these transformers interface easily with oscilloscopes, digitizers, analyzers, and other measurement instruments. Specification performance can be adjusted by changing output termination. They are designed for controlled environments in accordance with IEC 61010-1 and are not rated for CAT II, III, or IV.

The LILCO 13E1000 is a precision wide-band AC current transformer rated for 1000 A. It offers 1 mV/A output sensitivity, greater than 60 MHz bandwidth, rise time under 6 ns, 300 nH inductance, and 2000 A DC saturation tolerance. The input aperture diameter is 21 mm, cable length is 1.5 meters, and the approximate weight is 300 g. It comes with a male BNC connector and integrated 50 Ω termination. For accurate measurement, the connected instrument should have 1 MΩ input impedance. Using 50 Ω termination will reduce output sensitivity by a factor of 20.
