SKID-S Positioning System Overview

The SKID-S is a positioning system designed for hands-free testing and debugging of PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly).
It is a modular platform that allows for expansion based on the user's needs. This version of the SKID is specifically designed
for 3U standard PCB form factors and has a clamping width of at least 160×160 mm. Smaller boards can also be tested.
The PCBA spacers can be positioned to clamp a variety of geometrical forms, including non-standard shapes that are typically
difficult to clamp.

The board rests 10 mm above the frame, providing better accessibility to the device under test (DUT).
The entire system stands on 90 mm pedestals, allowing for simultaneous access from both the top and bottom sides.
The frame features standard M6 threads all around for mounting accessories such as probe positioners, lamps, and cameras.

The SKID-S can be configured for a flat assembly using 20 mm stilts or for vertical assembly to enable access from two sides.
The operating temperature range for the SKID-S Starter Kit is 0 °C to +50 °C, while the version for environmental testing
can operate in climate chambers from −55 °C to +155 °C. The system requires non-condensing humidity.
