Sonic® 4000 RF Active Probe offers best-in-class performance for high-frequency in-circuit measurements from 220 Hz up to >4 GHz. With ultra-low input capacitance of <0.6 pF and 2 MΩ input impedance, it minimizes loading on sensitive circuits, making it ideal for use with spectrum analyzers, RF network analyzers, and other 50Ω systems.

Unlike traditional single-ended probes, the Sonic® 4000 RF has a 1 MΩ high-impedance reference path to earth ground, which prevents potential damage during probing of energized circuits. This makes it a safe solution for browsing powered circuits.

Equipped with a PMK custom high-speed FET amplifier and active cladding wave compensation, it delivers low noise (70 nV/√Hz), minimal distortion, and excellent signal fidelity. Its 10:1 attenuation and rise time of 123 ps support precision measurements even in GHz ranges.

The Sonic® 4000 RF is lightweight (110 g), includes a 1.3 m cable, SMA output connector, and comes with a wide range of accessories and power supply. It is fully ESD-protected and built in Germany.
