The MSU 1500 is a 3D measuring tripod with a steel base plate. It is a variant of the 200 mm 3D measuring tripods with a steel base, but it is supplied with a Uniholder and is designed for the safe and precise positioning of probes and other equipment. It has an M6 thread on both sides, allowing for mounting on the SKID® positioning systems. The MSU 1500 has a span width of 200 mm. It can also hold a holder for probes larger than 12 mm or a probe holder from another manufacturer.
